Eli Njuchi tags Onesimus in Simpo

The song

Going by its title, the exposition in this 2 minutes and 30 seconds piece of art is satisfactory enough.

A few hours after its release, the song seems to be doing well, as it is garnering more praise, currently sitting on over 70 thousand views after 9 hours from its release time.

Arguably, it is due to the evident prowess the two award-winning artists present.

The setting of the song is a classroom and/or school premise, themed by love and gratefulness.

The writer feels the use of the vowels AEIOU is quite deliberate to marry it well with the main message the song carries, in which it is being said that the lover finds it easy to love their partner as it is with learning the vowels.

Indeed, though debatable, love must, at all times, be easy.

This is evidenced by the lyrics Chifuniro Magalasi, stage name Eli Njuchi, sings in the chorus/hook,

She makes it simple like AEIOU / loving you simple like AEIOU / She makes it easy like AEIOU."

All this is compounding by the soothing voice of Onesimus, whose lyrics indicate that the partner is a different kind of 'baby,' whom one can lay a strong foundation with, and he goes on to admire the confidence in this girl as she independently walks down the streets in her neighborhood.

Destined for greatness/ She is the kind of girl who can build an empire… / she stays high like a satellite dish/ sings Onesimus.

Although the song is catchy, others have strongly spoken against the short duration of the song, and the mention of the 2 minutes and 30 seconds duration at the beginning was deliberate by the writer.

However, one needs to understand that any artist is at liberty to choose the duration of their artistic pieces in accordance with the message it carries.
